Today, Buck calls Greenville, South Carolina home, where he lives with his wife, Erin and their two children. Whether traveling in their family camper, hiking the scenic trails of state parks, or contributing to the preservation of his family farm in Preston, Georgia, Buck remains deeply connected to the land and traditions that shaped him. His passion for outdoor living and rural stewardship continues to guide his personal and professional endeavors.

Jackson Bankston

Jackson Bankston grew up waterskiing and fishing on Lake Eufaula and spending weekends kayaking and relaxing in blue holes along the Flint River. He joined RecX to bring together people who share that same passion for adventure—whether it’s casting a line, hitting the water, or just soaking up nature. Through RecX, Jackson hopes to create a lasting event where outdoor enthusiasts, families, and brands can connect, explore, and enjoy the outdoors together.

About Spence Field

Spence Air Base was a United States Air Force base that operated from 1941 to 1961. It has since been reopened as Spence Airport. In June of 1941, after the War Department approved the site for Moultrie and Colquitt County to purchase the 1,600 acres. Part of the cantonment area eventually became the Moultrie Regional Industrial Park and a county correctional institution. In 1968, Maule Aircraft built a manufacturing plant at Spence where it remains to this day. Today, three of Spence’s wartime hangars are still in existence as well as other buildings built by the Army Air Forces during the war. As of 2008, Spence Airport still averages over 20 military flight operations per day. Utilizing 100 acres of the property for indoor and outdoor exposition space, Spence Field often operates as an event venue and is home to RecX Outdoor Recreational Expo as well as other popular annual events such as The Sunbelt Ag Expo, The Calico Arts & Craft Show, and the Moultrie Automotive Swap Meet & Car Corral.
